Oil Only absorbents Ecostar are hydrophobic. They absorb oil and repel water. They are able to separate oil from water. Sheets, rolls, snakes, drum toppers, booms, sweeps and pillows from our oil only range are fast and highly absorbent with excellent tensile properties.

They are used on shorelines to stop oil from reaching land, in fuel leaking areas and so on. They float on water even when saturated, they are particularly suitable for marine spill control. Used absorbents can be properly incinerated to reduce disposal cost.
